Clients reviews about Lawn Doctor of Lakeville-Burnsville-Farmington

I can't say enough good things about John. He's EXTREMELY responsive to all needs and concerns. He tended to my lawn all year and made return trips to my place when some weeds didn't wilt or if I had concerns with any kind of lawn fungus/disease. I truly felt like he was taking care of my lawn like it was his own and offered suggestions to all my questions on how I could help my lawn thrive in a tough year. He's on the higher priced side of the general market, but he is more than worth it with the number of visits he includes and the service he provides. The bigger name brand companies (which I've used three of in the past 4 years) didn't even come close to the quality grass results I've had this year. My neighbor and I used him, and you can see in the photos the quality green grass we have because of him compared to our other neighbors. ~ Mitch H

John with Lawn Doctor is outstanding. In less than a year, he completely transformed our lawn. A few years ago, we weren’t watering properly and were cutting the grass too short. By the end of the summer, our lawn had turned brown. On top of that, we hadn’t treated weeds for several years, which left us with ongoing problems and a lawn we were embarrassed by. John took the time to assess our situation and created a customized plan to bring our lawn back to life. The results were incredible. Not only did our lawn recover, it became healthier and better-looking than our neighbors’, even while they were out working on theirs daily and we were able to simply enjoy the summer. ~ Susan (

This is our first year working with John-Lawn Doctor and I am so thankful we found him & his company. John is attentive, kind, and truly cares about customers lawns. We sincerely appreciate that he always answers any questions we might have. Company is organized, communication is superb, and technicians are professional & friendly. Their lawn applications are always thorough and never rushed. Also their customer alerts are a "plus," they are very informative and serve as a guide for your lawn care. I highly recommend John- Lawn Doctor to anyone out there looking to make their lawn look beautiful. ~ G W

We have used John’s Lawn Doctor lawn care services for the past two seasons and the results are phenomenal. I have tried using other big name lawn care companies only to be disappointed with their results and their lack of concern. We had dandelion and clover control issues that no one could tame including myself! I took a leap of faith and gave John a call. He immediately responded and set up an initial consultation appointment. After his first season of lawn maintenance, the weeds were under control and by the second season, all gone. John is a true professional; he’s courteous; he takes pride in his services; and is very knowledgeable in his craft. He’s a great communicator - always notifies us with his scheduled appointments and makes every effort to answer any questions or concerns. So blessed to finally have a great advocate for our lawn. We absolutely love the results and will continue to use his services for our lawn maintenance needs. Thanks again, John! ~ Darren S

Our lawn is looking better than it ever has, thanks to John/Lawn Doctor. After researching several companies, I chose Lawn Doctor and I'm so glad I did. We have a large lawn with a variety of needs; some shaded, some getting over taken by crabgrass/weeds, some bare spots, etc. From the beginning and throughout our service, John took the time to carefully review my lawn and discuss what was happening and what his recommendations were. Not a one size fits all, but a fit for what I needed. I would highly recommend John and Lawn Doctor. ~ Janet K

We are so lucky to have found John and the Lawn Doctor. Our lawn has been a disaster from the day we moved in 5 years ago. Easily the WORST yard in the neighborhood. We have given many companies a shot based on their claims to make it come alive again. They ALL failed. I was at my wits end and was preparing myself for a complete overhaul to include sod. I happened across the Lawn Doctor sign and the rest is history. We went from dirt patch to luscious fairways of your nicest golf courses. If your yard needs help, this IS the company to call. ~ Pete F

Last year was my first time using Lawn Doctor and I was genuinely impressed with the results. My lawn was in pretty bad shape when I decided to use them as I had suffered for years using other companies with no actual results. I must say that Lawn Doctor actually brought my lawn back to life and, I'm looking forward to an even better year with them in 2025! ~ Stephen C
